  • General Muscle Tension and Tightness

We use a range of techniques including:

  • Acupressure

  • Trigger Point Release

  • Stretching

  • Tuina Massage

For those unfamiliar with Tui Na (pronounced twee-nah), it originated in ancient China and is one of the four main pillars of TCM. It follows the same principles as acupuncture, that being to create harmony and balance within the body through the stimulation of qi flow but uses massage instead of acupuncture needles. Small scale studies have shown it is beneficial in treating neck and low back pain when combined with exercise therapy as well as blood circulation.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture stimulates specific anatomical areas in the body that affect the local tissue and nervous system. This can help the body heal and recover. This can not only help relieve pain but also can also harmonise the organism and address different health concerns. Following the principles of Chinese Medicine the body will be treated as a whole and holistically with the aim to improve your health and wellbeing.
